Ever since she first started riding when she was 8, Katrina has always seemed to find herself surrounded by horses. This passion for horses was catalyzed as she dedicated all of her free time growing up working in the barn where she learned to ride, spending early morning and late nights cleaning stalls, grooming horses, teaching lessons, and leading trail riding excursions. Katrina took this passion and was formally trained in the art of farriery and now serves as the lead farrier and barn manager for Whistle Pig Farms. She adopted Charlie, one of the horses used to teach new riders introductory horsemanship skills, in the winter of 2019.
